The First Year Experience programme at the University of Fort Hare is designed to help new students transition smoothly into university life by providing structured academic guidance, essential support services and opportunities for personal development. FYE equips students with the skills needed to succeed in their studies through orientation activities, mentorship, academic literacy support and ongoing engagement initiatives that strengthen confidence and connection to the university community.
